Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, an artist's daughter, from Mexico was born to a music-loving family. She spent most of her youth listening to music from the past Boleros from the past, traditional ranchero or romantic songs along with older classical songs. Ana is a fan of tangos and operas as well as other dramatic performances. After singing with her mom, she started more serious training in vocals at age 16 under the tutelage of renown Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. The beginning of her professional career saw her perform with many chamber ensembles and opera choruses in Guadalajara. In 2000 she moved into America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Later, in 2007, she settled in her home in southern California. The singer currently sings classic Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. As a local performer and instructor the passion for art and music has her engaged in a wide range of initiatives. Ana is also an ex-member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana finds it a privilege to have the opportunity to be able to share her love for the traditional Latin American music. She hopes this can encourage younger generations to preserve the traditions.
